Who would you recommend Michelle to?
I will recommend Michelle to anyone who is unhappy in life and thinks that money will solve everything. It is true that money can solve problems, but true happiness still comes from knowing what you want the money for and how to really achieve the life you want.
Why did you choose to do money coaching with Michelle?
I've decided to take a break from work to be a stay-at-home mom with my two children. While it is fulfilling to be with them, I cannot shake the inner voice telling me that I'm useless and unable to provide financially for them, relying instead on my savings. I also find myself becoming more worried and stingy about money now that I don’t have a stable income.
I decided to start money coaching with Michelle to develop a healthier relationship with money, as I am living my dream life as a stay-at-home mom but still feel unhappy. At the same time, Michelle has been helping me with adulting tasks such as insurance and investments, so she already has some insight into how I manage my money.
What was the one thing about Michelle that impressed you the most? (Could be something that she has done for you or personality traits that impress you)
She is very young, but she has been very successful in life and is excellent at managing her money. I am happy to see her trying new things and moving away from what has kept her successful to learn about money coaching and step into a new area. I want to learn to be courageous and good with money management—or simply to have a healthier relationship with money—like her.
How did Michelle helped you in your money coaching journey?
I've been very stingy with myself, and even more so now that I'm not working because I feel I don’t deserve any good things since I’m not contributing anything to the household. She reminded me how I’m creating this trauma for myself because of my childhood experiences, such as my school days when the school made me feel I’m not smart enough—always not enough—that I need to keep giving more to prove myself.
I'm reminded that I've been working hard for the last 20 years to save for where I am now, allowing me to take a short break from work to live the life I want and be with my children. I can afford to give myself some nice things at times—such as the green tea lattes that I've always loved.

Building a Healthy Relationship with Money
I wanted to be more aware about my relationship with money as I always feel a guilt to desire more money, and that money comes with strife.
Michelle is systematic in carrying out the coaching and is very detailed when uncovering details about my life journey.
She has helped me to identify my mission statement in life and guided me on how to weigh the pros and cons of any financial decision that I’m going to make.
I would recommend Michelle to someone who struggles to have a positive relationship with money, especially if you feel that money is a limiting factor to the things you can or cannot do.
